Who am I?

Having moved from a quiet country life to busy London, I continually stumble across new and exciting things. Before moving to London, my interest in fashion felt like it was the most it could be. Immediately contradicted on my first day studying at London College of Fashion. It was as if I had walked onto a catwalk. Everyone had an identity they were proud to present. It was as if i had walked into a school of freedom, where every fashionista could be respected for their appearance.  I had no real idea how exciting the world of fashion is. The way people dress is more than dressing to look good, its about expression. It's a chance for people to be who they want to be. I suppose i'm one of those people.

For me fashion isn't about following a trend, but using them to introduce a rawness and originality into dress. I love that every fall and every summer, fashion weeks create new identities, waiting to be tried on.

London, a place of so many different cultures. There couldn't be a better place to fully embrace the industry. Fashion in London has such a unique energy, as if every designer wants to recreate themselves through each collection. Having worked backstage at fashion week and sat in the audience, as the outfits trailed down the stage, I'm only too eager to explore it further.

So join me in my blog, as I unravel the path my fashion footsteps will take.
